This series was inspired by the cherry tree in my garden which I can see from my shed window.
This one is small at approx 5.cm diameter. It’s made from white earthenware clay and was made sing a pinching technique.
The pink, blue, green and white glazes were applied using a sponge and once fired, the moon jar was smoke fired to accentuate the crackle within the glazes and to give smoky tones to the nakes areas of clay
