The glaze on this Moon Jar has everything I love within it – the intensity of the colour, the texture and the gentle colour variations that give a wonderful sense of movement. The smoke firing has added the smoky tones beautifully. The glaze has a penchant for forming drips and this jar has a lovely example of this.
Handbuilt from earthenware clay and glazed in earthenware – the jar is not suitable for use with liquids.
