Kurinuki Bowl – sample

Description

There is a joy with the kurinuki technique, a freedom in its making. The texture is obvious and pronounced.

The pot is form from a solid block of clay which if hollowed out and then the exterior is carved so the texture stands out.  The bowl is glazed in a gorgeous emerald green glaze
