Terracotta jar with white inlay line – End of Line

Description

There is a wonderful warmth to terracotta clay, and this jar just sings with it.  I’ve inlayed white slip into a line which circumnavigates the jar, with a couple of white dots of slip.  All finished off with a lovely transparent glaze. It’s set on a base giving a jaunty angle and cheeky character.

Handbuilt with terracotta clay.
